Who invented the first video game console

Late 1940's, Thomas T. Goldsmith and Estle R. Mann invented a device they called Cathode-Ray Tube Amusement Device. A device people can use to play basic games but it wasn't popular. In 1958 William higinbotham invented a electronic game called tennis for  two. But again it wasn't popular.
The first true video game wouldn't have been invented until 1967 by an engineer named Ralph H. Baer. Baer made the first prototype which will eventually become the Magnovox Odyssey the world's first video game console.

For an airplane to take flight two special forces are required Thrust and Lift. Thrust is the forward motion caused by the engines. Enough Thrust must be generated to overcome the force of drag from the friction that is created while moving through the air. That's why airplanes are shaped like they are so their form is as aerodynamic as possible to in order to reduce drag and maximize the thrust provided by the engines. For an airplane to take flight thrust must be equal or greater than drag.

The other necessary force needed is lift. Lift is generated by the airplane wings. The wings are shaped and tilted in such way that when air moves across the wings an upward force is generated. This will lift the airplane into the sky.

I wonder why we can't stop the earth from spinning?

The only way to stop earth rotation is to lose the angular momentum it has. It would take millions of years to naturally stop the Earth's rotation. Practically, this case is not possible as earth is present in absolute vacuum and there is no way that something would provide any friction or force to reduce its momentum. Before this time comes Earth would've already been engulfed or say vapourised by our sun as it would have also been then transformed into a red giant. A way to quickly try to stop earth rotation is we need to apply a massive external force but there is no way earth would stop spinning even after applying any external force as it would only increase or decrease the rate at which it is spinning. So earth will keep spinning infinitely.
